Teens! Feel free to offer feedback for upcoming programs, and collection development. Specifically, you can offer advice regarding what books, graphic novels, audiobooks and materials you would like to see added to the teen section.

Summer Reading Programs
June 30th – August 9th – Galaxy the Dragon Scavenger Hunt
Find Galaxy the dragon in the children’s section! Tell a librarian where he is and win a prize!
Galaxy will be hiding in a different place every week and every week there will be a new prize!
For all kids and teens!
July 11th @ 2pm – Movie Matinee: Moana 2
Come enjoy a movie on our big screen! For this session, we will be watching Moana 2!
No need to register. For all ages.
July 15th @ 2pm – Teen Creative Writing Workshop
Did you know Mrs. Molly, your youth services librarian, is a published author? Well, she is! Come explore your creativity! Do some fun exercises and explore some prompts to better get the creative juices flowing. Learn what makes a good character and a good story. Feel free to ask Mrs. Molly any questions you might have about writing!
Each participant will get a notebook and pen to use during the session and they will then get to take it home afterwards.

July 29th @ 2pm – Teen Pressed Flowers Craft
Arrange pressed flowers and trap them between clear plastic to create bookmarks and sun catchers!

July 30th @ 6pm – Mr. Magic Show
Come and enjoy a magic show!
We will be out on our front lawn, weather permitting.

August 6th @ 6pm – Summer Reading Finale
Come at 6pm to enjoy a pizza party! All the kids who completed their Readers are Leaders forms will get their t-shirt and certificate of completion! The first selectman will be in attendance to take a picture with all our readers!
At 6:30pm, Michelle Urban will be presenting us with Spaceship Harmony, which is a fun music and movement program!
