Birds on the Move! Homeschool Presentation

We invite our area homeschool families to a special presentation of the Litchfield Hills Audubon Society’s Birds on the Move! program. This special presentation is designed for children ages 5 and up and will teach them all about birds. Find out what birds live around us in Connecticut, if they migrate in the winter, and why. Learn how to identify birds by their appearance or their song. See what’s included in the Library’s Birding Backpack and practice using binoculars. The program will include a walk outside – weather permitting. This program is scheduled on a weekday to reach our homeschooling families, but children do not have to be homeschooled in order to attend. Please register.
